The June meeting was at the Witchita Moutains Widlife Refugee on Jun 12th. The ride up to Lawton was good. The Wildlife refugee was beautiful and very peacefull. We stopped on Medicine park at Chaps My Ass and ate lunch at the Plantation Inn. Mickie was able to join us! A great time was had by all. Check out the website for the pictures. The following items were covered at the meeting.

Meetings and Rides:

• There will be two events in July. The monthly meeting will on July 24th. We will leave the Valero at the corner of Business 287 and Bailey Boswell Rd in Saginaw at 8:30 am and ride to the Koffee Kup in Hico, Texas. Check them out on the web at http://www.koffeekupfamilyrestaurant.com/

• The second event is volunteer work for the Special Olympics on July 31 at the Keller Natatorium, 1000 Bear Creek Pkwy  Keller, TX  76248. We will be working the morning shift from 8 am – 12 pm. You can meet at Carol’s House at 6:45 am or be at the event by 7:30 am. If you would like to participate please let Carol know by July 15th. She needs to submit the names to the Special Olympics.

• Mickie has finished her Chemo and radiation. She is doing well and continues to have a fighting spirit. She will have heart surgery in August.

• Office nominations are just around the corner. We will be nominating and voting during the August meeting.

Charity Work

• We continue to support the Special Olympics and the Susan G Komen Race for the cure. If you have other ideas please let Wendy know.
